Cosmologically Speaking, Happy Full Wolf Moon in the Nourishing sign of Cancer!

In our study of the Sixth Chakra in last night’s Meta-Meditation Class, we looked at the nature and power of intuition. We have been meeting for eighteen years now. This is our third in-depth study of the yoga chakras. There’s always more to learn. Each of us has access to a way of knowing beyond the five senses, and even beyond wisdom. This is the meaning of the Sanskrit Ajna (third eye center).

Once stigmatized as “just women’s intuition,” this innate faculty has saved lives, inspired artistic endeavors and guided us to fulfill our life’s purpose. It is driven by the soul and revealed through an ability to feel deeply rather than emote.

I am fond of this Wolf full moon in Cancer as I was born when the moon was full in its natural sign of Cancer. These are some of the qualities within this archetype: highly intuitive, the home, family, reflective, nurturing, strong ability to sense beyond the five senses, soul-full, strong in vulnerability, delicate, family oriented, deep connection to the mother and babies (of all types), ruler of the stomach, breast and chest, with the ancient sentient crab as its symbol, it can be defensive of its delicate insides. Because of its high level of sensitivity it is considered to be the most feminine of the astrological archetypes, so it relates to women and the women in our lives. Men have these qualities as well in all their ways of being nurturing and protective.

At our peril, just as we have yet to fully appreciate these gifts in women, we also have yet to acknowledge and appreciate them in men. When we do, we will evolve into a more spiritually fulfilled society.

With Mars retrograde one more week and Mercury as well until the 18th, it is an excellent time to go inside, to meditate and reflect upon each of our deepest and highest intentions for ourSelves and others, for as the song goes, “We are family.”

Full Beaver Blood Moon - November 8, 2022 …

Having been born on a Super Blood Full Moon, it is my experience that Blood Full Moons have great power to open the door between the way the past and the future will expose and deal with the ways we have collectively ignored and dealt with the meanings of the constellations and their archetypes in which the Sun and Moon astronomically occupy. In this case the archetypes are Scorpio and Taurus.

Scorpio refers to personal and political power, transformation, sex, intimacy and transcendence.

Taurus sharpens our focus on material wealth, comfort, sensual pleasure and the needs of our physical bodies. We are in for shocks and surprises in these areas. It can be helpful to remain in the eye of these storms.

Eclipses spotlight these areas of our lives and open an opportunity for us to address what is not working and how we intend to address these needs personally and collectively.

Much can be said about the meaning of this eclipse …and it will continue to be for decades to come. It is no wonder that it is happening on a critical Election Day in a powerhouse country. This election will determine how we address the archetypes of Scorpio and Taurus for many years.

Like the universe/multiverse, each of our souls are in the process of constantly expanding in the ways we embody our souls’ desires…as the refrain goes, individually and collectively.

It is an auspicious time to shine light upon how caring for the boulders of practicality allow the flow of Spirit to cascade beautifully, a fertile time to harvest the secrets of our dreams, a time to care for our feet and intestines, a time to purge useless guilt, start a yoga, meditation, qigong course, a time to remember how our habitual thoughts impact our bodies, a time when old business can be gently released or resolved, when coded symbols can magically leap into music, mathematics, money, a time when the concise power of poetry can unite, purification can renew, when the ocean teaches us the wisdom of its rhythm, when world music and other food exhilarates, a time to dissolve or create boundaries, a time when light shines upon the subtle realms, when one may become skillful as the polished fine gems that we each intrinsically are, a time when humanity heals when it remembers how we are all connected in the natural numinous spiritual web of unity.

My friends, Since several of you have asked about my thoughts about the major conjunction to the Moon’s North Node in Taurus that happened on Sunday, I will do my best with this simple reply.

Given the unpredictable energy of Uranus and forceful assertive energy of Mars, we’re in for many sudden explosive surprises in our external world, both with global governments, rebellious protests and natural disasters that will have the effect of awakening all of us and, ultimately, uniting humanity in both our appreciation of Earth and each others’ unique beauty.

Growth in leaps and bounds in technology are in the works. The truth of our deepest ancestry will be revealed to set us free from limited perceptions.

…But beyond the external events, I am most curious about how each of us will express our unique gifts as answers to our collective trauma.

Over the next 18 months find and assign value to what you have to offer, how you have bridged gaps, how you have found a way forward when you may have felt there was none. It may very well be your new vocation, as well as a valuable tool for others.

Do not compare yourself to anyone. You have something the world needs to help us address our material and/or spiritual needs.

They retort, …”But I thought Virgos are critical and judgmental and so into keeping the details meticulously clarified!” I reply, ‘Yes, they are in their area of interest. The Heart of the Matter - Your Sovereign Self

This Full Moon in Leo completes the fourth point of a Grand Cross in the fixed modality. The fixed nature (Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius and Taurus and where they show up in each soul blueprint) can be highly organized. They do not shrink away from the practical day-to-day details to build the momentum required to manifest the goal. If the petty ego is at the wheel, it’s expression could very well manifest on a grand scale.

Likewise, a sheltered person or group (we have all been sheltering in with a global pandemic) could shed that limiting structure and blossom dramatically into a major embodiment of a destined Avatar - one that has been gestating beneath the surface since mid-2019 and/or 1989.

Both are likely to happen simultaneously even within each of us - polarized Armageddon figures to catalyze the unity consciousness that characterizes the Age of Aquarius … in which we find ourselves.
